Nike Air Max Plus Utility “White/Red”

Given that the Nike Air Max Plus Utility is celebrating its 25th anniversary, it should receive more attention than some of the brand's less well-known offerings.

The simple white and red color scheme of the outdoor-inspired interpretation of Sean McDowell's 1998 design first surfaced before spring. The honeycomb-patterned mesh on the upper adopts a crisp, "colorless" appearance that lets the tiniest contrast steal the show. Flush fuse panels are used in place of the side TPU overlays that resemble palm trees. Instead, speed lacing provides support at the profiles while adding a dash of off-road style. Mid-foot shanks, Air Max and Tuned Air units, and Swoosh insignia on the sides and top of the tongue add brilliant ruby flair to the mix. Last but not least, off-white outsoles go well with the remainder of the Air Max Plus.
