During the past week, Nike has introduced a substantial number of Dunk Lows, many of which are reminiscent of the greatest heroes and villains from DC and Marvel. But this team seems to steer clear of the comic book genre in favor of a more realistic if colorful, presentation.
This Nike Dunk Low, designed for the younger crowd at the Swoosh, uses light and dark greys primarily as neutrals on its upper. As the embellishments elsewhere start to use brighter finishes, the check and midsole are dressed in white. The heel tab and tongue label are painted in a vivid green to showcase their branding, while the outsole is painted in deep blue. The latter then reappears via the insole, where it is balanced by its cool-toned cousin.
