Basketball has always been and will continue to be a global sport. The game of basketball's global importance was further reaffirmed this past weekend at the Jordan Sponsored Quai 54 tournament, which offered a first look at the Air Jordan 38's ode to the International Basketball Federation.
The Beaverton brand has more than earned its global credentials and reputation, from recent Jordan Brand signee Gabby Williams through the 2018 FIBA World Cup. The latest colorway of the Air Jordan 38 comes in a monochrome palette with jet-black contrasts running the back side of the tongue and medial TPU clip. The AJ 8-inspired tongue tab gets a flawless golden metallic treatment with the heel's embroidered Jumpman, and the FIBA World Cup trophy is fastened to the internal tongue.
The Air Jordan 38 "FIBA" will be available for purchase on September 7th for $200. Meanwhile, take a closer look at the duo below.
