New Balance 1906R Black M1906RCH Release

New Balance 1906R

After a disappointing first run, the New Balance 1906R continues to appear in new colorways, cementing the model as essential to the brand.

The silhouette, which debuted in 2009, has gained its footing in the previous two years. The sneaker has captivated the hearts (and feet) of many footwear lovers obsessed with the 'dad shoe' fad, thanks to modified tooling (from the NB 860v2). The retro running shoe has a mesh base layer that is topped with leather and plastic panels all over the upper. New Balance's latest offering features a black and grey color palette that gives both legacy and versatility. Cushioning inserts visible at the heel add some of the grey "flair" of the top to the tried-and-true sole unit.
