The Nike Dunk Low is a far cry from its performance basketball roots, yet it is more popular than ever.
During the last five years, the silhouette has evolved from an unnoticed design to one of the most popular models from the Swoosh — and around the world. Nike continues to explore Peter Moore's famous design, recreating it for a modern audience. Yet, the sneaker continues to wear historical and more subdued forms. With the help of an "Anthracite" makeup, the latter category recently grew by one.
The higher of the pair has a two-arrangement. Regular leather occurs at the toe and across the upper portion of the Nike Dunk. Layers seen at the mid-foot, tongue, and spine differ in nylon material, introducing a lightweight update to the 1985 design. The profile swooshes have a reflective sheen, while the sole units combine the eponymous grey with a semi-translucent blue tint.
View official photographs of the pair below, and look for a nike.com release before autumn.
