Renowned collaborators INVINCIBLE and N.HOOLYWOOD have once again joined forces for an exclusive project with New Balance, introducing the all-new NB 1906U.
Following their prior successful collaboration on the NB 1906R, dubbed "Grey Swan," the latest iteration of this collaborative effort maintains a grayscale color scheme but introduces a refreshed version of the silhouette. Embracing utility as a core theme (hence the "U" designation in NB 1906U), this technically enhanced New Balance model boasts a diverse array of materials across its upper. The redesign focuses on reducing weight while reinforcing panels that were previously only mesh. Notable additions include the incorporation of suede, toggle laces, and additional overlays around the forefoot, elevating the shoe's functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Maintaining a minimalist approach to modifications, INVINCIBLE and N.HOOLYWOOD subtly add their branding to the shoe's tongue and sockliner. Additionally, the special edition of the New Balance 1906U arrives with two extra sets of laces and is packaged in a co-branded shoe box, contributing to the unique identity of this collaborative project. This release further solidifies the ongoing legacy of New Balance's contemporary models.
While a specific launch date on newbalance.com has yet to be disclosed, anticipation is high for the forthcoming release expected at the beginning of 2024. The collaborative iteration from New Balance, INVINCIBLE, and N.HOOLYWOOD is anticipated to retail for $185 USD.
