The adidas Crazy IIINFINITY has appeared in a bold new colorway inspired by the Green Goblin, one of Spider-Man’s most famous foes.
The “Green Goblin” nickname has roots in sneaker history but is typically associated with Nike. In the 2002 Spider-Man movie, actor Willem Dafoe wore Nike Flightposites as part of his Green Goblin costume. Now, adidas channels that theme with its own take on the character.
The Crazy IIINFINITY showcases a striking look with a black interior and shiny metallic green side panels, reminiscent of the Green Goblin’s iconic appearance. Although this model is a fresh release from 2023, it draws inspiration from early 2000s sneakers worn by Kobe Bryant, including the well-known adidas Crazy 1. This connection gives the “Green Goblin” colorway an even stronger link to its retro roots.
As of now, there is no confirmed release date for the adidas Crazy IIINFINITY “Green Goblin,” but it’s expected to drop sometime in late 2024 or early 2025 with a price tag of $160. Keep an eye out for updates on its official release.
