New images of the Air Jordan 1 “Medium Olive” have surfaced, showing what might have been an exciting release for sneaker fans. Originally planned as a part of the Holiday collection, this pair is now uncertain for release. Reports indicate that it was one of several Air Jordan models cancelled this season, including the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat.”
The photos confirm that the shoe’s design closely matches earlier mock-ups. It features “Medium Olive” suede overlays paired with a matching outsole. The rest of the shoe is black and white, giving it a familiar look that’s similar to the classic “Chicago” color scheme but with a twist—similar to the “Midnight Navy” version.
One reason for the cancellation could be how recent OG-style releases have performed. During the pandemic, such colorways were extremely popular and sold out fast. However, interest in 2024 has been cooler, with some shoes even being discounted in outlets and grey market prices dropping below $100.
While there is no official confirmation that the Air Jordan 1 “Medium Olive” will hit stores, it seems unlikely to release before the end of 2024, if at all.
