Kids Of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder Set to Drop This Holiday Season

One of the most exciting sneaker collaborations of 2024 is on its way. Kids Of Immigrants (KOI) and Nike have teamed up to reimagine the Air Max Sunder, and sneaker fans are buzzing about the release of two distinct colorways this holiday season.

A Collaboration Rooted in Culture

Kids Of Immigrants is known for its focus on community and storytelling, and this partnership with Nike brings that vision to life. Drawing inspiration from Nike’s early 1990s ACG (All Conditions Gear) line, the Air Max Sunder gets a fresh utility-inspired makeover. These designs reflect the rugged and functional style that resonates with New York City’s vibrant youth culture.

The sneakers are also packed with subtle, thoughtful details. From the nostalgic brown and orange shoebox reminiscent of the 2000s to inserts that reference phone cards—a relatable nod to immigrant families—every aspect of this release is a celebration of heritage and resilience.

Exclusive Release Details

The first confirmed drop is the “Persian Violet” colorway, scheduled for a SNKRS Pass release at 2:15 PM EST, exclusively for New York City. Pick-ups will be available at Cafe Colmado in the Lower East Side, and the shoes will retail for $190.

While the official release date for both pairs is still to be determined, they are expected to drop during Holiday 2024.

What’s Next?

KOI and Nike are just getting started with this collaboration, promising a long-lasting relationship that combines storytelling with timeless design.
