Lil Yachty’s Nike Air Force 1 Low “Concrete Boys” Officially Unveiled

Hip-hop culture and sneaker fandom have long been intertwined, with a constant rotation of artists competing for the title of rap’s biggest sneakerhead. While veterans like Wale and Fat Joe have set the bar, Lil Yachty has emerged as a top contender in the new generation, known for his extensive sneaker collection and deepening involvement with Nike.

The “Strike” rapper’s relationship with Nike has evolved from admiration to collaboration, as seen in his participation in campaigns like Nigel Sylvester’s Jordan 4 RM and modeling for Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market projects. Yachty even made a notable appearance on the SNKRS app earlier this year. This connection takes its next big step with the public release of his own Nike Air Force 1 Low “Concrete Boys,” now showcased in full detail through official retailer images.

Unlike some of the more straightforward artist collaborations like those for “Utopia” or “Certified Lover Boy,” Yachty’s version brings a distinct, personal touch. Using the classic all-white Air Force 1 as a canvas, the rapper introduces navy sock-liners and outsoles, harking back to general releases from the 2000s—a nod to his well-documented love for that era and the influence of designers like Nigo and iconic AF1 colorways such as the “West Indies.”

One of the most significant details is the “Concrete Boys” logo, an emblem of Yachty’s crew, which appears prominently on the heel. The custom packaging features the same stickman logo alongside the group’s signature adlib and additional branding on opposite corners, reinforcing the collaboration’s roots in Yachty’s identity.

The Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 “Concrete Boys” is anticipated to debut at ComplexCon, running from November 16th to the 17th. This release adds yet another chapter to the legacy of music-driven sneaker collabs, solidifying Yachty’s position in the world of both footwear and hip-hop.
