Nike’s New Air Max DN8 Arrives in March 2025

Nike is getting ready for Air Max Month 2025 with an exciting new release: the Air Max DN8. This sneaker brings a fresh take on the popular Dynamic Air technology, now stretched across the full length of the shoe.

Earlier this year, Nike designers hinted that they were working on something new for the Air Max line, but they kept the details under wraps. Now, with the official images revealed, we get to see what they were talking about. The Air Max DN8 comes with eight Dynamic Air chambers in the sole, which is why it’s called the “DN8.” The back two chambers have higher pressure (15 psi) for more support, while the front ones are softer (5 psi) to provide a more comfortable step. This difference in pressure levels might also be used in the forefoot for even more cushioning.

The upper design of the DN8 has elements similar to the Air Max 96, a classic shoe that hasn’t been released in its original colors for a while. The wavy patterns on the upper line up with the Dynamic Air units in the sole, giving the shoe a unique look. Some design features also remind fans of the Air Max 2002, although that model didn’t have the same tube-like layout seen here.

Just like the Air Max DN, which came in many colors, the DN8 is expected to be released in multiple colorways. There’s also a chance that a big collaboration might introduce the new model, similar to how Supreme helped launch the Air Max DN.

The Air Max DN8 is set to release on March 6th, 2025, for $190. Keep an eye out for more updates as Air Max Month gets closer!
