PUMA continues to strengthen its partnership with A$AP Rocky, fulfilling the artist's promise of expanding their collaborative scope. Having teased ambitions that extend into creating a mainstream F1 uniform, Rocky’s influence is already making waves. The latest announcement from the German sportswear giant confirms this growth, showcasing two new iterations of the PUMA Inhale, forming part of their most extensive collection to date.
The upcoming PUMA Inhale Neoprene and PUMA Inhale Mesh both share a common base but take distinct creative routes. The Neoprene version features a unique pre-distressed look, introducing an edge with its “dirtied” aesthetics. Accented with a fresh palette of yellow and blue trims, these hues meet in a fusion on the translucent outsole, completing the rugged and eye-catching design.
In contrast, the PUMA Inhale Mesh opts for a cleaner composition, emphasizing high-visibility neon green detailing across its profile. This colorway is punctuated with fire red highlights that envelop the traction lugs and “FLACKO” branding on the heel, adding a bold touch. Both sneakers boast dual-branding and arrive in a sleek co-branded shoebox.
This launch arrives at a notable moment for A$AP Rocky, who recently took on the role of creative director for PUMA’s F1 division. As the 2024 F1 season enters its final lap, with races in Brazil and Las Vegas looming, the timing of this capsule release aligns perfectly with the heightened anticipation.
Both colorways of the A$AP Rocky x PUMA Inhale will be available on November 7th via PUMA.com, priced at $120 each. Fans can also look forward to a matching colorway of the 3D-printed Mostro as well as a comprehensive co-branded apparel line dropping on the same day.
