Luxury watchmaker Tudor has unveiled the 1926 Luna, marking the brand’s first-ever moonphase wristwatch. Released just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival, this special trio of watches was created with the creative input of singer, songwriter, and actor Jay Chou.
The watch comes in three color options — a deep black, a rich blue, and a unique champagne dial personally designed by Chou. Each 1926 Luna is housed in a 39mm polished stainless steel case with a domed dial, vintage-style arrow-shaped hour markers, and even-numbered Arabic numerals. Elegant sword-shaped hands complement the overall design.
At the 6 o’clock position, a striking moonphase complication features a golden “phantom moonlight” disc, which tracks the lunar cycle. Inside, the timepiece is powered by the chronometer-certified, self-winding Calibre T607-9, ensuring top-notch accuracy and performance.
The 1926 Luna also delivers on durability with 100-meter water resistance, a screw-down crown and caseback, and a polished-and-satin-finished steel bracelet. Staying true to Tudor’s “Born To Dare” philosophy, the watch blends refined craftsmanship with robust reliability.
Priced at $2,800 USD, the Tudor 1926 Luna will be available online through Tudor’s webstore as well as in select boutiques worldwide.
