The Nike Cortez has been reimagined by Clot in a way that neatly references the yin-yang principle and pays homage to the traditional house shoes used in Chinese houses. The resulting 3-in-1 modular shoe has received high accolades for good cause, and happily, multiple colorways are in the works to release during the Spring 2023 season. Harry Wong first introduced the idea as part of his Nike: On Air contest entry.
The "Clotez," which is already available in white/black, was just made public by @whojungwoo in a yellow/black colorway with an extra viewpoint contributed by Edison Chen. One immediately thinks of Bruce Lee's renowned one-piece jumpsuit from the movie Game of Death. One more colorway from this partnership, which has three confirmed colorways, has not yet been unveiled.
