"Iced Blue" outperforms the UK-made New Balance 991

 

The New Balance 991 has only used a few initiatives since the new year, reserved under the Made In Britain name among Teddy Santis' reinvigorated lineup of offers for the Boston-based business. Recently, an English-made silhouette was replaced with an "Iced Blue" ensemble.

The greyscale underlays adopt the same color-blocking strategy as the pink-accented proposal that was first seen earlier this week, beginning with a steel-grey mesh base layer and ending with dark grey overlays concentrated along the vamp, heel, and upper tongue structure. Potentially harkening to a new inline collection with the exact placement of crisp white laces and a split sole unit underfoot, the pictured model denotes its difference through a vibrant wash of “Ice Blue” enveloping the suede-treated upper and nubuck mudguard while metallic silver “N” logos shimmer in the right lighting conditions.
