The New Balance 990v6 was first revealed in June 2021, although it did not go on sale until early November 2022. The silhouette has maintained a somewhat modest release cycle since then, although that is changing thanks to Teddy Santis.
Santis, who was instrumental in the Action Bronson collaboration, has featured the NB 990v6 in multiple Made In USA collections. The latest set of domestic releases features the FuelCell-cushioned sneaker in "Mindful Grey" and "Bone" colorways. The upper is made of premium pig suede and breathable mesh, with the former taking up more space on the pair. The panels around the heel and toe are brown, while the rest of the shoe is cream and white. Underfoot, the color scheme remains consistent as the sturdy midsole takes on brown tones, making the sneaker a versatile option for both new and veteran fans of the brand.
