The New Balance 550, resurrected from the archives by Teddy Santis, has evolved into one of the Boston brand's most dependable lifestyle shapes of the modern era. The Basketball Oxford now joins a light grey ensemble to the growing capsule of low-tops, following its investigation in clad-suede tooling.
The "Grey Suede" NB 550, like its light blue and "Olive" predecessors, is totally covered in the worn texture. With the exception of the mesh tooling on the vamp, tongue, and heel collar, the sloppy fabric extends from the mudguard to the white branded heel counter. The laces, collar lining, and bulbous mid-foot logo add more color matches to the tonal composition, while the sole unit sticks to the next collection's signature use of a colorless midsole and light cream tread underfoot.
As we await further release information, take a closer look at the New Balance 550 "Grey Suede" below.
