In fact, even after more than four decades of popularity, the AF1 remains the most common shoe in the lifestyle sneaker industry. All the designers at the Swoosh have to do is make minor changes, and it's evident that a classic basketball style is the intention here. The tongue is fully redesigned with jersey mesh, and the sole is attached with varsity-jacket styling that is somewhat larger than the usual Swoosh seen on standard pairs. With the AF-1 tag at the tail of the cheque, there's just enough separation to give the Air Force 1 Low a new look.
