Nike has spent the most of 2023 expanding its collections, in addition to collaborations with Tiffany & Co. and Jarritos. The "Athletic Dept.", for example, has grown significantly in recent months and shows no indications of slowing down anytime soon.
Another new addition to the mix is this Air Max 1, which comes in an unassuming, vintage-inspired shade. The upper begins with a neutral base, with white mesh inserts and off-white overlays stacked throughout the shoe, and sits atop a yellowed midsole with a black-on-blue bottom. The Swoosh and mudguard are dressed in dark blue, while deep greens highlight several of the branded fixtures adjacent, such as the embroidered Swoosh at the toe and the Nike Air down the heel.
