The Barbie film, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, will be released in theatres next weekend. As the pink-dominated film has taken over the world in recent weeks, accompanied by an endless press junket, Nike has been unofficially crafting a collection of lifestyle-centric footwear ideal for Barbie's transfer to the real world.
The Nike Blazer Mid '77 joins the previously released "Hot Pink" Air Max Scorpion in continuing the Sportswear label's gingham plaid range. The picnic tablecloth is exclusively strewn across the mid-foot Swooshes and heel tab. Complementary cream touches encircle the canvas sole unit and laces, while the surrounding tumbled leather construction takes on a clad-soft pink color.
