Many of Nike's most sought-after and elusive trainers are housed under the CO.JP label. The initiative, which stood for "Concept Japan," created a slew of ultra-rare, Japan-only releases, some of which have since emerged in the United States. This was the case with the "Ugly Duckling" pack, whose "Plum" colorway is set to return in 2024.
Originally released in 2001, the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Plum” first returned only three years ago, helping pave the way for the silhouette’s resurgence. Given it shares the same style code as its 2020 cousin, we may expect the 2024 Retro to sport an identical architecture and palette. The pair all-suede upper will be dressed in dark and light purples, complementing the deep reds of the adjacent Swoosh, heel tab, outsole, and laces.
