The New Balance 2002R has become one of the brand's most desired styles over the previous three years. The sneaker, which was previously a failed attempt, has helped the North American brand earn market share and cachet among sneaker enthusiasts.
A good mix of solo and collaborative efforts has resulted in the NB 2002R being available in dozens of styles to suit all tastes, making the design very widespread on social media and in real life. The trainer has recently appeared in four different styles, evidently ready for autumn. Each pair's upper is made of durable suede and lightweight mesh, with colors like "Driftwood," "Slate Grey," and "Eclipse" claiming space. The subtle color choices are a departure from the pastel and bright tones seen on previous New Balance models. Shock-absorbing midsoles from the NB 860v2 keep things basic in an off-white colorway, while stability, cushioning, and traction components depart in modest finishes that match each fall-ready NB 2002R option.
