Nike pays homage to the roots of the Air Max 1 with the upcoming re-release of the "Obsidian" colorway. Remodeled to capture the essence of its original appearance, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 "Obsidian" celebrated Air Max Day earlier this year and is set to drop on September 9th.

Staying true to the iconic design, the sneaker features the classic "Obsidian" blue on the Swoosh and mudguard, complemented by light grey suedes. The mesh inserts and midsole come in crisp white, while vibrant red accents on the outsole and branding add a pop of contrast.

This release of the Air Max 1 '86 is a nod to the history and heritage of the Air Max line, allowing sneaker enthusiasts to experience the iconic silhouette in its true OG form. The pair is expected to launch on September 9th via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, giving fans another chance to own a piece of Air Max history for $150.
