LeBron James and Nike have officially introduced the LeBron 22 “Monopoly” collection, which will be released in two separate drops on November 15th and 19th. This collection is part of a larger celebration of LeBron’s successful 2024-25 season, which has been filled with family milestones, including setting records with his son, Bronny, as the highest-scoring father-son duo.
The LeBron 22 “Monopoly” collection is designed with a “Family Game Night” theme, bringing the fun and nostalgia of the iconic board game to life. The first pair in the collection, known as the “Currency” edition, showcases a playful design with Monopoly money graphics and an Art Deco-inspired base that echoes the game’s classic art style. The second pair, called the “Token” edition, takes inspiration from the game’s pieces like the racecar and thimble. It features a blue and gold color scheme with a unique floral print running across the upper.
In addition to the sneakers, Nike has planned a special event to mark Monopoly Day on November 19th. Students at LeBron’s “I Promise School” will get the chance to participate in a life-sized version of Monopoly, designed to teach financial literacy through interactive gameplay. Nike also hinted that this partnership with Hasbro may continue, as Monopoly’s 90th anniversary in 2025 could bring new collaborative products.
The LeBron 22 “Monopoly” collection will be released in two parts: the “Currency” colorway on November 15th, followed by the “Token” colorway on November 19th. Each pair will be available for $180.
