Nike Revamps the Air Max Sunder with a New Breathable Upper

Nike has made a big change to the classic 1990s Air Max Sunder by giving it a new, more breathable design. This new version, called the Air Max Sunder “Phantom,” showcases an interesting switch from its usual materials.

Instead of the regular neoprene fabric, this model features a translucent mesh upper. This change allows for better airflow and adds a unique look. Beneath the see-through mesh, there are geometric patterns that make the shoe more eye-catching, resembling designs seen in past collaborations.

The shoe keeps things subtle in color, using shades of grey known as “Phantom” and bold black accents. The black is mainly found along the shoe’s edges, like the sole and the heel area made from nubuck.

The Nike Air Max Sunder “Phantom” will be available on November 22nd and is made for women. Although the exact price isn’t confirmed yet, past versions of the Air Max Sunder have sold for $180. The added details in this edition might lead to a slightly higher price.

For fans of the Air Max Sunder, this updated design is a fresh take on a classic model, blending comfort with style.
