Nicole McLaughlin, known for her creative upcycling projects, is back with another exciting collaboration. The sustainable fashion designer, famous for turning unusual items like used tennis balls into gloves, has teamed up with PUMA to create a special version of the classic PUMA Suede. This project, called “Sweep The Factory Floor,” is set to release by the end of 2024.
What Makes This Pair Special? The new PUMA Suede shoes are made from leftover materials, making each pair unique. Different bright and dark pieces of suede are stitched together with white thread, showcasing a patchwork style that stands out. A detachable lace cover that doubles as a storage pouch adds an extra touch of functionality.
Simple Co-Branding While the shoes are visually bold, the branding is subtle. The classic PUMA Suede logo appears on the tongue, and McLaughlin’s initials are featured on the heel, keeping the focus on the design and sustainable message.
Release Details PUMA hasn’t shared an official release date yet, but fans can expect the Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede “Sweep The Factory Floor” to drop by late 2024. Each pair will be unique, making this release even more special for collectors and fans of sustainable fashion.
