To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, Nike is continuing its tradition of creating special collections tied to the zodiac. This time, the spotlight is on the “Year Of The Snake” collection, which adds a new Dunk Low to its lineup. Official images from retailers give us a first look at this unique sneaker.
Design Features
The Dunk Low “Year Of The Snake” comes with eye-catching details that nod to the theme. It features a red snakeskin tongue and a lining inspired by snakes, bringing a bold, textured look. The main part of the shoe has olive-colored leather on the toe box, sides, and collar. White nubuck overlays provide a clean contrast. The Swoosh and backtab have a slight metallic green finish, with the Swoosh highlighted by red stitching on the side for added flair.
Collection Highlights
This Dunk Low is the second release in the “Year Of The Snake” series, following a similar version designed for kids. One of the most anticipated items in the collection is the Kobe 5 Year Of The Mamba, expected to release in February 2025 with two color options.
Release Date
The Dunk Low “Year Of The Snake” for adults is set to drop in Spring 2025, likely around late January or early February, just in time for Lunar New Year celebrations. Keep an eye out for more updates and official images as the release date approaches.
