Nike SB Dunk Low Celebrates The Wizard of Oz with New “Dorothy” Design

Nike SB is known for revisiting popular themes and bringing them back with fresh new looks. This time, the iconic brand is teaming up with The Wizard of Oz for an exciting new version of the SB Dunk Low. Fans will remember the 2015 “Dorothy” Dunk, which nodded to the famous film, but this new design makes the partnership official.

Design Details Inspired by the Movie The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low features special details that capture the magic of the classic movie. The tongues of the shoes display both “Nike SB” and “Wizard of Oz” logos, making it clear this is a true collaboration. The insoles are printed with scenes from the movie, including an image of the Wicked Witch of the West commanding her flying monkeys. The upper part of the shoe has references to the scene where Dorothy falls asleep in a field of poppies.

One unique feature of this shoe is its tear-away design. Although not shown in the images, the top layer can be worn down over time to reveal matte red material underneath. This feature adds a surprise element, similar to the “City of Style” release earlier this year.

Release Information The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low will be available on December 5th, 2024, and will come in full family sizing. Prices are set at $130 for adults, $90 for preschool sizes, and $75 for toddlers. This collaboration is perfect for fans of both sneakers and classic movies, offering a nostalgic touch with a unique design.

Keep an eye out for these special sneakers and enjoy the official images that give a glimpse of what’s to come!
