Swarovski and Nike Team Up for the Luxe Air Max Plus "Moonlight" Release

 

Nike and Swarovski are once again collaborating to bring a dazzling twist to sneaker culture. This time, they’ve transformed the iconic Air Max Plus into a luxurious statement piece. The Air Max Plus “Moonlight” will be available on December 5th, exclusively at select Foot Locker locations, priced at $450.

A Sparkling Design

The "Moonlight" edition features a sleek black base and midsole, enhanced by Swarovski crystals meticulously placed on the shoe’s overlays. This shimmering design is paired with Swarovski branding and includes a microfiber dustbag, adding to its premium appeal.

A History of Dazzling Sneakers

Swarovski first entered the sneaker world in 2017 with their crystal-studded Air Max 97 collection, which was a huge hit despite its high price. Now, they’ve turned their attention to the Air Max Plus, showcasing two colorways: "Pimento" and "Moonlight." While the release date for the "Pimento" remains unknown, the "Moonlight" will be the first to hit shelves.

A Campaign with Star Power

For this collaboration, Foot Locker partnered with WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale of the Dallas Wings, featuring her in the campaign. The combination of high-end design and sports culture highlights the sneaker’s versatile appeal.

What's Next for Swarovski and Nike?

In addition to this drop, Swarovski is set to collaborate with Jordan Brand in 2025. Fans can look forward to the Swarovski Jordan 1 High arriving in summer and the Swarovski Jordan 1 Low set for May 2025.
