Zenith Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary With the Chronomaster Revival A384 Liberty II Edition

Swiss luxury watchmaker Zenith is marking a major historical milestone with the release of the Chronomaster Revival A384 Liberty II Edition. Created to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the limited-edition timepiece blends vintage motorsport-inspired chronograph design with patriotic details that honor the origins of the United States.

Inspired by the legendary 1969 A384 silhouette, the Liberty II Edition stays faithful to the original’s instantly recognizable 37mm tonneau-shaped case. The watch arrives with a crisp white lacquered dial contrasted by bold blue subdials, creating a clean and highly collectible aesthetic. However, the standout feature is undoubtedly the chronograph seconds hand, decorated with 13 alternating red and white stripes representing the original American colonies.

Zenith continues the patriotic storytelling through smaller details across the dial. The blue tachymeter scale subtly highlights the number “250” in red, commemorating the anniversary itself, while the date wheel also places emphasis on the number “4” in red — a nod to July 4th and American Independence Day.

At the heart of the watch sits Zenith’s renowned El Primero 400 automatic movement, one of the most respected high-frequency chronograph calibers in modern watchmaking. Operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, the movement offers ultra-precise timekeeping alongside a 50-hour power reserve.

The Chronomaster Revival A384 Liberty II Edition will be available exclusively in the United States in two distinct versions. The stainless steel model is limited to 250 pieces and comes paired with both a Gay Frères-style ladder bracelet and a blue Cordura-effect rubber strap. Meanwhile, a much rarer forged carbon edition is limited to only 25 examples worldwide, delivering a more modern and lightweight interpretation of the classic chronograph.

Pricing starts at $10,600 USD for the stainless steel version, while the ultra-exclusive forged carbon variant retails for $13,400 USD.

With vintage racing DNA, historic American symbolism, and Zenith’s iconic chronograph engineering all wrapped into one release, the Liberty II Edition stands out as one of the most meaningful commemorative watches of the year.
