Even while the shoe industry continues to embrace innovation, many people still choose to wear 1980s-era styles. The New Balance 550, which was just introduced in a combination of "Sea Salt" and "Marine Blue," is a good example.
The most recent version of Steven Smith's 1989 design has an upper made of suede, similar to some previously seen winter and fall fashions. Base layers adopt a breathable mesh construction that pays homage to the sneaker's history as a performance shoe. The brilliant blue, pink, and yellow colors used in branding's supporting accents throughout the top-half contrast with their "Sea Salt" surroundings. In order to emphasize the sneakers' informal appeal, New Balance provides a low-top shape an off-white midsole, and a speckled gum brown outsole.
Check out the official photographs of the pair up top, and right now, your size is only $110 USD at newbalance.com.
