After honoring the global reach and importance of basketball with a gold-tinted ode to FIBA, the Air Jordan 38 now wears an orange costume reminiscent of the color-matched WNBA hoodie popularised by the late Kobe Bryant.
The impending orange-hued collection, which joins the newly released Air Jordan 12, pays respect to the ever-growing women's game in conjunction with the upcoming WNBA All-Star game in Las Vegas. As a result, the multi-color star designs strewn across the insoles remain, but the nubuck toe cap and heel counter introduce a collection of matte brushed stars. The W logo appears in a clear jet-black on the left tongue, while the pitch-black detailing continues to the heel's Jumpman emblem. The embroidered upper and padded tongue, as well as the full-length Zoom Strobel cushioning system underfoot, are all in tonal "Bright Orange" colors.
The Air Jordan 38 "Center Star" is set to be released on September 25th for $200. Meanwhile, take a closer look at the duo below.
