Jayson Tatum's love of Air Jordan Retros is on display in the upcoming colorways of his Jordan Tatum 1. A "Cool Grey" colorway was previewed in Paris, an homage to his fondness of the Air Jordan 11 "Cool Grey." Even more recently, we revealed the first images of a Jordan Tatum 1 "Pure Money," apparently inspired by the Air Jordan 4 Retro of the same name. Now, we're delighted to introduce another that may be inspired by one of the most iconic Air Jordan colorways of all time.
This simple black/white hue is most likely a Team Bank colorway, but we can't help but think of the Air Jordan 12 "Playoffs" – a 1997 original colorway. The pop of red on the Jumpman emblem on the heel seals the deal for us, despite the fact that this Tatum 1 falls just a few things shy of being a true playoff homage.
Remember, this Tatum 1 is most likely of the TB variety, which means we should expect more straightforward tone-on-white alternatives in the future. They should be available soon for $120.
