Lil Yachty is known for his passion for sneakers, making him one of the top sneaker enthusiasts in today’s hip-hop scene. His love for shoes has brought him closer to Nike, as shown by his involvement in promoting recent releases like Nigel Sylvester’s Jordan 4 RM and Nike collaborations with Cactus Plant Flea Market. Now, Yachty’s bond with Nike is becoming even stronger with the reveal of his own Air Force 1 called the “Concrete Boys.”
The “Concrete Boys” edition starts with the classic all-white Air Force 1 base but adds special touches inspired by early 2000s sneaker designs. Navy blue sock-liners and outsoles give a nod to that era, a period Yachty often references. The heel of the shoe showcases a stickman logo representing the “Concrete Boys” collective, and the packaging continues this theme with unique logos and details.
The public release of the Lil Yachty Air Force 1 “Concrete Boys” is expected to happen at ComplexCon from November 16th to 17th. A wider release could follow soon after, so sneaker fans should keep an eye out for updates.
Friends And Family Edition In addition to the regular version, there’s a special Friends and Family edition limited to just 100 pairs. This exclusive version features unique packaging, numbering on the insole, and a different logo on the left heel, making it a true collector’s item.
Stay tuned for more details and make sure to check for updates as this highly-anticipated release approaches.
