Nike has introduced a fresh take on a classic shoe: the Air Force 1 Low Dance, designed especially for women who love to dance. This new version keeps the iconic look of the original Air Force 1 but adds special details to make it even better for dancing.
One of the standout features of the Air Force 1 Low Dance is its flipped branding. The “Nike Air” text on the tongue and heel is stitched upside down, so it looks right-side up when dancers move and flip during routines. This playful touch highlights Nike’s focus on the unique movements and aesthetics of dance.
The shoe also features an inset Swoosh with stitched details, a thinner nylon tongue for extra comfort, and a special sole with cut-out lines near the front. These slits make the sole more flexible, which helps dancers move more smoothly and comfortably.
The Air Force 1 Low Dance first caught attention with its bold “Volt/Black” colorway, reflecting the energy of dance. Other new color options include black/brown, Off Noir/Black, Summit White/Photon Dust, and White/Metallic Silver. While the “Volt” and “Summit White” styles are already available for Nike Members, the rest will release later in 2024 and early 2025.
This shoe is part of Nike’s growing line of dance-focused products, which include models like the Nike Jam, made for breakdancing. The Air Force 1 Low Dance will be available for purchase starting November 7th for $130, with more colorways to follow during the holiday season.
Dancers looking for style and function can now enjoy a shoe that blends the classic Air Force 1 design with modern dance needs.
