Luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne has revealed two limited-edition versions of its iconic SAXONIA THIN timepiece. Known for its minimal design and expert craftsmanship, the new models come in HONEYGOLD® (750) and Platinum (950), with only 200 pieces each being released worldwide.
The SAXONIA THIN embodies the idea of “less is more”. Measuring 40mm in diameter and just 6.2mm thick, it is the thinnest watch ever created by the brand. Its design focuses purely on hour and minute functions, highlighting the simplicity and elegance of fine German watchmaking.
Both editions feature a sleek onyx dial with a polished two-hand display. Subtle details elevate the design—like baton-shaped markers with polished chamfers and perfectly balanced hands. The HONEYGOLD® version offers a warm glow, while the Platinum model has a cooler shine that makes the gold details stand out beautifully.
For comfort and style, the watch comes with curved lugs for a better wrist fit and a black glossy alligator leather strap that enhances its refined look.
At its core lies the impressive hand-wound calibre L093.1 movement. Despite being just 2.9mm thick, it delivers a 72-hour power reserve, thanks to a flat mainspring barrel. The movement, finished with A. Lange & Söhne’s signature precision, can be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback.
