New Balance 2002R "Tan Leather Tab Pack" Release

 

The New Balance 2002R has donned dozens of captivating ensembles since its rebirth in late 2020. The well-known "N"-branded style debuted in a series of monochromatic designs before spring, replete with brown leather tabs at the spine.

Although not as much as "Refined Future" pairs, the unreleased shoes have premium suede all over their uppers. Base layers for the whole collection are made of breathable mesh, which is tied together by matching finishes on the Achilles' Heel. The sidewall branding and upper heel panels of the following trio of New Balance shoes are made of leather. The aforementioned tab is made of a brown material that also rests on the vamp, perhaps a tribute to leather craftsmanship from earlier times. Logos on the centre spine and top of the tongue add a multicoloured element to the blend in other places.

The NB 860v2's solitary unit keeps things straightforward underneath, letting the colour combinations of "Wet Blue," "Concrete Grey," and "Sandstone" up top take centre stage.
