The New Balance 550, formerly disregarded by the masses, has gained new life thanks to a true-to-original reissue by Aimé Leon Dore at the start of 2020. The Basketball Oxford is presently preparing a relaxing ocean-tinted composition after experimenting with a wide range of color blockings and inconspicuous formulations.
The shape is dominated by clean white leather panels, with contrasting navy blues lining the mid-foot N and perforated overlay before entirely filling the ankle collar's overlay. For a short departure from the lightened palette, a lightened greyscale combination secures the suede and rubber heel clip and further addresses the middle-most region of the split tread underfoot. A complimentary inclusion of mint decks out the opposing ends of the outsole before securing the tongue tabs logo to round off the summer-ready offering.
