Nike has revealed official images of the Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22, a sneaker collaboration inspired by the most sought-after real estate in the iconic board game Monopoly. The LeBron 22 will arrive in two Monopoly-themed colorways on November 19, 2024, each priced at $200, taking fans of the game—and LeBron's legacy—straight to Boardwalk and beyond.
One colorway draws from the signature colors of Monopoly's high-value properties, Boardwalk and Park Place. The shoe is dressed in a rich “Deep Royal Blue,” reminiscent of the vibrant tiles that players vie for in hopes of monopolizing the board. Accentuated with a “Metallic Gold” lower Swoosh and elegant gold piping, the sneaker exudes an air of luxury and prestige, nodding to the exclusivity of these prized spaces. Laser-engraved detailing adorns the upper, incorporating abstract patterns across the sneaker's main sections to give it a high-end finish. The look is completed with Monopoly branding on the lateral quarter panel, a playful nod to the game that inspired the design.
The second colorway, previously teased, offers a contrasting look, with an array of colors that mimic Monopoly's iconic paper currency. While both pairs pay homage to the game’s memorable elements, this colorway leans into the game's playful side, highlighting the money motifs that are central to Monopoly’s gameplay.
Set to release just in time for the holiday season, both Monopoly x LeBron 22 pairs hit shelves on November 19, retailing for $200. Keep an eye out for the latest images and additional details as we approach launch day, and get ready to bring a piece of Boardwalk to your sneaker rotation.
