Shanghai-based creative studio blacktoes is stepping deeper into the performance sneaker world with its newest collaboration alongside ASICS. Officially titled the blacktoes x ASICS SUPERBLAST 3 BT “Keep Running Quiet,” the upcoming release blends futuristic running technology with an understated design language focused on transformation and quiet movement.
Unlike many modern collaborations that rely on loud branding and flashy palettes, blacktoes takes a more restrained approach here. The sneaker arrives wrapped in a deep dark brown upper, contrasted sharply by black paneling around the toe box and heel. The muted tones create a stealthy, almost tactical aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the “Keep Running Quiet” concept.
One of the standout features is the thermo-reactive ASICS logo. Depending on surrounding temperatures, the logo changes appearance, giving the sneaker an interactive visual element that evolves throughout wear. The subtle effect adds another layer of depth without disrupting the minimalist direction of the design.
Performance remains a major focus as well. The SUPERBLAST 3 BT utilizes ASICS’ updated FF LEAP foam cushioning, engineered to provide lightweight comfort with energetic rebound.
